Well, this was bound to happen. If you think Japan has problems with their elderly now, imagine the massive imbalance China is going to have to deal with in 40-60 years.

you are aware that if China does NOT begin to trend down in population they will be no where, and I mean nowhere, capable of feeding their population in a couple of decades?

as it stands there are millions of people in poverty starving in China

for those of you who think that taking this rule away is a good thing, you have no idea. the amount of people in both India and China per square mile is absolutely insane

they'll regret this rule change (if in fact it truly has been changed, which I doubt. the Chinese government is not that suicidal)

You... are joking right? I mean India are pretty high (nowhere near the highest though) but China? They have less people per square mile than Italy, Germany, the UK, Japan, Belgium, Israel, the Netherlands and many other countries. China is just so big that population per square mile isn't an issue there.

They could literally double their population and still be outside the top 10 and lower than some of the countries I mentioned.

True, although China has an insanely amount of desert. Therefore in the Eastern areas live 40 times more people per square mile than in the Western parts of the country.
