Honestly, I'd just stick with GameCube controllers--well-built, comfortable, and very durable.
But if you're going wireless, I'd recommend a Wavebird, since it doesn't suck up your Wii-mote's batteries like the CC does.
Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?
