That ultimately comes down to execution and not making a plethora of mistakes like they did with 3DS/Wii U. Unified software library fixes some problems that 3DS/Wii U faced but it alone does not fix all their problems. Things like pricing, marketing/advertising, system features among other things need to be addressed as well.

I do believe NX has potential to sell better than 3DS+Wii U if they have strong execution but at the same time it has potential to sell worse than 3DS+Wii U if they make the same mistakes or create new ones.
