For me, nintendo's first party games are crap.....  Don't crucify me. I'm just not interested in mario, zelda or donkey kong. So unless nintendo started to produce IPs that interest me, I wouldn't touch their consoles. It could have all of the 3rd party support and the best online network for all I care.

I personally love Nintendo games but I think a lot of people are like u, do people really believe that the audience for games like GTA/COD/FIFA is the same as games like Mario/MK/Smash? I'm sure there is some crossover of people who enjoy both sides but that's likely a small percentage and a big reason why simply getting those games on Nintendo consoles is not enough.
