Makes sense. with no gamepad + 3rs after ps4, its clear Nintendo can make a comparable/better HW at $299 if they wanted. The real problem is the power consumption, which Nintendo seems obsessed about, and if they stay at 28nm they can't get a gpu under 75w near PS4 level. If they go for the new arctic island amd finfet 14/16nm chips in 2016, it would make more sense (big increase in performance per watt) but then would be costly, which IMO would push the NX back to 2017.
