That's not happening. The reason they did that with the Wii conflict with what they're doing with the NX. It's strong enough to play DQXI, a PS4 game. That's how.

there is no commitment that any DQXI game is coming to NX and even less that any specific version is.  don't fool yourself.  ..or worse yet,. embarrass yourself.  nintendo doesn't want to be cutting edge technology, they want to be "good enough".

There's nothing really wrong with "good enough" though.

Nintendo's IPs would start to basically look like their older CGI renders if they really wanted them to. Budget would be more of the restraining factor, not hardware.
