$299 premium or basic? IIRC the 299 wii U was not that popular and $349 was deemed to expensive. NX launching at 249/299 makes more sense, I think its key to stay under $300 regardless of the bundle offer.

The Wii U + 3DS cost $520 (I'll even give the 3DS the $169.99 price drop pricing) at launch, this is supposed to match up with the PS4/XB1 yet be $299.99?
PS4/XB1's price isn't as releveant directly because those are home consoles only, not both a home console and portable.
The more relevant price would be a PS4 ($349.99) + Vita ($199.99) cost.

Depends of power, I dont think NX will be more powerful than PS4 and PS4 already have price point of $349, next year PS4 could easily have price of $300, saying that there is no reason why Nintendo can't release console in Q4 2016 with Xbox One similar power with price point of around $249-299.

Yeah but the portable is included with it, so even if the console component could be $249 ... Nintendo's not gifting away the portable part for free. Even at $99 for that component, you're up to $349.99.
