It has been done in an era where assets weren't as expensive or important. This gen is not the last gen, and there are no valid comparisons to be made here between them. If that's all you're going on it shows how ignorant of the industry you are, with all due respect.
I only bet in certain terms (I'm talking permaban here, I don't scrub around), and I'm not making any bets until I hear your full argument out. So make one. I want to understand your logic before I go into anything as definitive. So if you're as certain as you are that something as dated and dead as splitscreen shooters will come back, explain it to me so we can have a genuine discussion first instead of me having to point out my wording every time you misinterpret me and us having a spitting contest. |
You did it again. Pointed out my reading comprehension. I haven't misinterpreted one thing you've said. You just don't like the fact that I have valid points that you can't counter with any real evidence. "This gen is not the last gen" is a great argument. I don't know why I didn't think of that one sooner.
As for my reason, splitscreen has been done in the past for many shooters (online and local) and there are tons of FPSs that release each year. To think that at least one of them won't have splitscreen sounds a little absurd to me. And because I pointed out that something has been done in the past makes me ignorant? That statement seems a little outlandish. And please, don't pretend like you're respecting me.
I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.
