The point is, those sales threads used to be far, far more active, when we actually got numbers on a regular basis.  People are still annoyed about it, some moved on to other sites, others simply think it, but feel like it's beating a dead horse. 

Well that's actually not the point here. The point is that issue and this issue are two seperate issues. Using one to justify another is just an excuse. Not folwing the rules isn't going to bring back the people that left because of VGC's sales issues.
