I'd personally prefer if people put a bit of the article, then the link, then very clearly addressing the article themselves with their own opinion or addressing future comments in the thread with a question or something in that order. Or at least something of those lines.

Simple. People don't come here for the primary function. More than likely if that was the reason they were here, they are gone by now. That's an excuse.
