You do not have to watch the full Treehouse to understand what this game is about. You can't complain about not having enough information about something when there is in fact information out there and you just refuse to look into it. That's not how it works. Furthermore, there is nothing misleading about this game. It was introduced as a crossover a long time ago, obviously very early in development, and underwent changes since then. Hence, the change of the name (no, it is not SMTxFE anymore). They've been very upfront with how this game is since the trailer back in April, and I can't believe that people are still trying to claim that they're misleading us, when that's not the case at all. This isn't a traditional crossover in the sense of Project X Zone or Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright. It's more like Kingdom Hearts than anything, and it's about time people understand that. This isn't Fire Emblem. It's also not Shin Megami Tensei. However, it is a new game with gameplay elements and characters from those games. If Persona or anything like Persona isn't your thing, then you won't enjoy this game. And that's okay. |
True that is my fault that I don't know what's going on because I'm not willing to watch a 45 minutes of a Nintendo Treehouse video, but I'm saying that an average person (the general audience) wouldn't either.
It doesn't help that Atlus gave no information about the crossover since the reveal 2 years ago, and crushed many people's imagination of what an epic game (in both fanbases's fanboy minds, not saying that this isn't epic to some others so who am I to judge) it could've been. And yes, I did notice the name change. However, I can't read Japanese and that huge #FE in the title doesn't help separate the crossover image, which still misled me until you just told me.
Whatever, I can see that this argument is going nowhere so i'll just stop here.
