It plays almost exactly like SMT IV. Dungeon crawling (added simple puzzle elements) with monsters running around, appearing and disappearing. You have to slash them to stun them etc. 

I'll check it out.  I had mixed feelings about SMT IV.  A lot of things I liked, but it rREALLY dragged in certain parts.  Specially if you wanted a neutral ending.

You just gotta ignore the loud voices of the treehouse staff though. But be patient and watch it all cause it's pretty awesome IMO.
