So there is that. I expect a direct with a pricecut and DeNA news. There won't be much about games other than that Smash thing, etc. Nintendo is hard at work with NX games which can't be unveiled just yet.

N won't announce NX this year, it would be infinitely stupid, since it would slaughter any tiny sales they are gonna have this Christmas.

After PS4 price cut I think Wii U will also get $50 price cut.

But I don't think that isn't huge news for Wii U owners..

I can see the pricecut. Nintento probably wants to release their next hardware soon, and by making a pricecut to the WiiU and 3DS their last year, they'll clear out stock for both. Also, a 2DS for 50$ could be a really good choice before Christmas.
