4. Mario. First console game I ever played, never loved any of the games until I first played Galaxy, which is still one of the absolute masterpieces of all time.

3. Fire Emblem. This really only pips Mario at the post because I love Fates (favourite game ever) raises it this high by itself. I liked Sacred Stones and Path of Radiance, but they were merely good in my eyes, not masterpieces like the 3DS entries have been.
2. Pikmin. I tried the first one like ten years ago and didn't really enjoy it very much, bought Pikmin 2 NPC and absolutely loved it.

1. Pokemon. First game I ever played, and only series in which I've bought and played every single game through to completion. Also, it has the only video game merchandise (outside of Amiibo) that I own. I still love it to this day.
