When it comes to releasing a console in 2016 (2017?), with Sony/PS4 and MS/XB1 at their respective peaks, meeting and adapting to the standards of now isn't good enough. They have to set the new standard. It's part of what killed the Wii U, and it'll kill the NX before it launches.
