Indeed. A completely underrated anime due to its initial presentation. The bus arch is one of the most vivid and striking dramas in all of anime.

However it gets old quite fast since the drama is very shallow and only there for drama's sake. You will know what I mean when you watch the second season. His past is so tragic that it becomes a caricature of itself. They're just mindlessly cramming in all the bad stuff that could happen to a person.

soooo I just watched Grisaia no Meikyuu ( Its basically the 40min long one) and of FUCK! His past life is sooooooooo horrible =( And yeah like what you said they did just keep throwing stuff at him.  And THAT FUCKING WIG and the dress............... IDK what the fuck was that but that is just insane. And some YAOI shit happening there =D This anime just keeps blowing my mind.
