Somehow we need to deal with the rumor that it also doesn't support physical media... that has been a staple of consoles forever.  Do you think that Nintendo could be influenced by the strong move to mobile in its home country?

Its a rumor. Those who speculate them aren't the ones who have to adress them. They announced the NX in order insist they are dedicated to dedicated gaming platforms. This was after their announcement of making mobile games to assure there wouldn't be a speculation such as this
