Pretty impressive Xbox launched at $500 not even two years ago and is already done to $349. If another price cut happens this holiday, it'll be seriously close to the current price of the 360, a 10! year old console.

Meanwhile, PS4 has yet to have a price cut and is still currently selling as it's launch price. Crazy stuff this gen. Totally the opposite of last gen.

The true truth is that the PS3 made the Xbox 360 sell more by being overpriced during a recession. The PS4 doesn't need a price cut. It just has to be attainable.  And a price cut would only make the PS4 more attainable.  Phil Spencer better hope the PS4 doesn't get cheaper.

The only way Xbox wins this holiday is if Microsoft drops the price by another $50-100 like last year. Which is probably what they'll do with Sony having that COD bundle.

I could actually see Xbox being as low as $249 this black Friday. I remember last year with all the promos and rebates, ppl were effectively getting an Xbox one for $299 I believe.

Not sure if Microsoft is willing to go to such extremes again, but if they do, I could see them winning November or at least coming very close.
