Well, of course there are people who wait for christmas to buy a console with a game that was released months before, but we usually consider a game's sales to double from the first week to the first month than from the first month to the first year (1000 fw -> 2000 fm -> 4000 fy) IIRC, so they are not a majority.

Uncharted collection and all the marketing exclusives mentionned earlier will have a bigger impact.
