Well, you could have looked into the Miiverse.

Curiously I did not have problems with laggy controls, and the analog stick sensitivity is something one can get used after a while (I did), but I agree about the C-buttons for the ocarina melodies

I wasn't actively looking for reasons not to buy the game when I did. Although I am surprised not many have complained about some of these things.

Man, eShop refunds needs to be a thing.
