At this point Wii U is really not competing with the PS4, it's not like "well this one has Uncharted 4, but ... Pokkemon FIGHTERS and new Amiibo for Wii U! I'm buying Wii U instead!" is happening a whole lot.

Star Fox Zero, Legend of Zelda, Pokken Fighters, Pikmin 4, maybe Mario Tennis gets pushed to 2016 is not bad. There's probably a couple more titles we don't know about yet, and while they're probably not major, it's still a normal-ish year.

Wii U is a games console, PS4 and XB1 are also games consoles, they all play video games on your TV they're competing in the same sales market.

Someone claims Wii U has a solid line-up, then comparisons with other systems are going to happen. As far as we know so far this is it, but for every comment on Wii U having more that hasn't yet been announced there's an equal or maybe greater likelihood that PS4 is going to get more new titles, Sony seems to be on this trip of re-announcing many games people thought were vaporware, like Ni-Oh, Gravity Rush 2, The Last Guardian, along with games that have been in development for a very long time.

I think Microsoft have said they're having another event this year, though considering they didn't announce any more exclusives for XB1 at Gamescom, instead they resorted to showing footage for games already announced and anything new announced was releasing on Windows as well, so no longer exclusive.

Technically Pokken isn't an exclusive to Wii U, because it can be played at the arcades, Pikmin 4 isn't a guaranteed 2016 release, even though Star Fox and Zelda were meant to be 2015 games Miyamoto and co felt they weren't all they needed to be, so they got pushed into the next year, we'll see what happens there.

Pikmin could be ported to NX we just don't know.

Nintendo needs more than a "normal year", they need more than this, a few fresh new IPs along the lines of Splatoon would be a lot better, maybe some thing will be announced in a Holiday 2015 Direct.

Nah... the Wii U is most definitely not "competing" with the PS4.

Wii U is dead.  Long live NX :p
