Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality are both methods of Reality Augmentation.

PSVR hasn't been shown to be standalone.

PSVR has a separate devkit though, and if the PS5 or whatever can run games made with that devkit, it'll be enough. There's no way PSVR can build up a good library without bc. And I've never heard the term "Reailty Augmentation", and Google gives me nothing, and if it is a term, it doesn't make sense that Virtual Reailty is a type of Reality Augmentation, as that is extremely counter intuitive.

Reality augmentation simply means augmentation of percieved reality. Virtual reality creats an artificial view, Augmented reality simply changes the actual view, its not an official term but simply a description of what both VR and AR does.

PSVR has a devkit like Oculus does, all it does is change how the game outputs video and audio, it can be used to make its own games, the machine the headset is tied to do does the actual processing. That is assuming PRVR works like morpheus does, which is likely since they are similar devices./

PRVR probably could work with any PS4 game natively, but that would raise the price because it would have to process video for each eye and audio meant for TV as well as motion controls. Hence the devkit, which makes the games able to do that so the PSVR doesnt have to worry about that.
