I agree with this.

Annualising something is deluting its essence and what sets it apart. Assassin's creed used to be an amazing and unique game. Now its your anual repetitive trash game rotating random envyronments IMO. I imagine CoD is the same.

But greed... its easier in the short term to keep pushing this trash than to try and come up with more good franchises for a rotation.

Series need at least 2 years between sequals to stay healthy. If you are manking one every year, you are killing off your cash cow and you will have nothing left. I am convinced that AC is going to crash and Ubisoft is going to burn because of it.
