First, we dont even know what it is, second, its not coming out before fall 2017. Nintendo needs time to develop software for it.
Also, because Nintendo seems to like showing their next system two E3's in a row before launching.

New Mario 3D game will be certanly be ready for next year, probably Retros game too, Next Level game too...recently we are geting mainly spinofs and smaller games, games that dont requre big budgets and time, all that points that Nintendo is preparing games for NX.

Showing system one year or more before launching today is totally inefficient, not to mention that WiiU/3DS sales would completely stopped. Best way Nintendo could do is show new system at E3 or few months earlier and launch it in holiday season, similar like XboxOne and PS4.


The hardware isnt even finalised yet. Game development isnt that fast. I'm sure they have started preparing, but i'm also sure nothing will be ready for another 2 years.

If they rush the launch as you sugest, prepare for another long drought. The Wii U had that long drought besides beeing on 2 E3s before launching. Your strategy for them spells disaster imo.

How you know that hardware isnt finished yet, even isnt finished yet it can be finished in near future. We had that Digitimes infos that Nintendo will start mass producing new hardware in beginning of the 2016.

"Japan-based Nintendo is planning to launch its next-generation games console in 2016 and has recently asked its supply chain partners to start pilot production in October, at the latest.to start pilot production in October, at the latest.. The orders are expected to be finalized in February or March 2016 and mass production will start in May or June 2016"

I didn't said that they will rush launch and I dont see why would we have another drought!? Like I said we will have new Mario 3D, new Retro and probably Next Level game, it very likely that other teams are working on NX titles to. Wii U is completely different story, first HD console (they had losta problems with HD devolepment) and they had to save 3DS too with strong titles, NX will not have those problems.
