I want to explain the 1 in a billion scenario for the Redskins to win the NFC East.

The Cowboys team dies in a plane crash, New York gets hit by a tsunami and the Iran drops a nuclear bomb on Philadelphia, and all of that happens within the next couple of weeks. Washington will be given a free win for all of their divisional games (because there's nobody to play against) and they go on to finish the season with a 6-10 record.

Except the teams' owners will survive all of those issues, thereby permitting them to recruit a new team within a week by raiding: other team's practice squads, undrafted free agents, recent retirees, long term retirees, arena football league players, college football players, high school football players, and homeless vagrants. The Redskins' record might improve to 3-13 as a result, but no one can hold me to that.
