I honestly was expecting a million-month for both HD consoles.

"GTA 20" is around 20% of Installbase of Total PS2

"Mario Kart sold only 6 million" (btw, it's more like 7 million), is about 30% of GC installbase.

Seems like quite the comparable stats.

Oh, so now you're in the "attach rates are what really matters" business.
Gamecube had enormous attach rates and I think we can all agree it wasn't a big success.
But whatever you may call it now, if someone would have posted a week ago that MKWii would get close in sales to GTA IV on PS3 he would have been bashed to death.

Gamecube made money, an frankly, DD is a HUGE success. I don't think anyone here can deny that.

 I agree, if anybody posted a week ago that MKWii will sell less than GTAIV for PS3, he/she would get bashed to death.

 

As for hardware boost. I'm happy with it. Someone predicted 50% max, I disagreed and countered with 150. In fact, if you read my prediction league, I put PS3 at 144K. so I don't think I was that off.
