MGS games have sold consistently throughout the years. ALL of the games pretty much sell the exact same amount of copies every time.

Which is why the game should have been PS4 exclusive.This game will bomb on PC (like most games) and sell low on Xbox like before.Last generation won't generate much sales either as most 360 fans and PS3 fans are move to PS4 really fast.These numbers are not impressive at all.

Umm, yeah...exactly!!! Except, well...I for one think these numbers ARE impressive considering the consistency. MGS sales have never really declined throughout the years which tells me the fans have stuck around and this series means something to them.

So basically, this franchise is for all those who started out playing MGS1 on PS1 back in 1998. That was when I first got a taste of MGS. This series doesnt seem to be one thaty attracts new fans because of the continuing storylines and all (unlike Final Fantasy which is a new game each time and its sales are not as consistent - FFVII, VIII and X topping 8 million while the rest are from 3 - 7 million, etc.)
