Focus on PS4 and PS Now, the best thing for them to do with the Vita is remove its exclusive library entirely and lateralize it with the PS4 and PS Now, essentially making it a PS4 mini.
They could turn it it into PS4's version of a gamepad except it would be standalone. That way they could guarantee support with minimal expense
