For Wii U games I would say yes, they are more reliable. They aren't trolled as much as the xbone and PS4 user scores. Check for yourself if you don't believe me.

The sheer number of perfect scores says all. They aren't trolled but it's very biased.

If you look at the PS4/XB1 games it's the same aswell, 10/10's or 0/10's.
