This is basically what I would have said. Obviously if the Wii wouldn't have Mario Kart (and to an extent, SSB:B), the software would look a lot worse, but these software sales are going to be so inflated due to the huge first week sales that these types of games produce. We're going to have to wait 3 or 4 weeks to see where sales settle to say who really "won" the war of Wii vs HD and 360 vs PS3. Edit: On second look, the 360 version of GTA4 sold 2.3 million, and the Wii had 2.9 million software sold, so you're first sentence isn't true. |
Obviously I'm referring to the whole franchise numbers,(both 360 + PS3
Perhaps under your kind of logic you could think that getting both HD systems numbers is not correct, but even if GTA4 was launched in only one system it will surely got that numbers,so my first sentence is true Stever89,I always respect your assumptions but like you say,we have to wait a little longer to see the hardware boosts (like if Wii is getting another short supply,or an increment or decrement in HD consoles) and the legs of these games(great everyone of them by the way - GTA4,SMK Wii,SSBM - )
