Actually, no need to thank me. Sony is doing this to counter similar things that MS did. But why did MS give free games in the first place? Because people like me bought PS4s instead of XBOnes, in great numbers.

Because the PS3 didn't live up to it's predecessors, thanks, in part, due to the growth of the Xbox brand. So, I need to thank people like you for buying Xbox 360s.

But then, why did you guys buy 360s? Because the PS2 absolutely dominated so MS got the next gen started way early to jump the gun. So, you have to turn around and thank people like me again for buying PS2s.

But then, PS2 only blew up off the success of PS1, and PS1 only existed because of Nintendo.

So......praise Nintendo?

I don't think MS and Sony are making decisions based on what Nintendo is doing at the moment.
