There was poll recently conducted where it showed that 78% of core gamers prefer physical media. That number is not going to change any time soon and I'm positive Nintendo and everyone else knows this. It would be suicide, plain and simple.

Show me one external card device that says "Game Program"

I am 100% positive that they're not STUPID enough to release a console that only 22% of core gamers would want to own. If this were a bet, you'd have some pretty long odds lol.
