I believe the PS4 shipments this year will be some like 3 million this quarter and 7.2 million next quarter, so, around 35.5 million. i can see >36 million, but 38 million absolutely no. Only if they drop the price and doing litterally crazy with the deal and the marketing during this holidays.

... And they can actually, physically manufacture that many consoles.

For crazy deal, i talk about some insane promotion at XB1 style last year. And no, i doubt, Sony can't lose so many money like Microsoft can.
