It is crazy how good the PS4 is doing, and it still has not had a price cut. PS2 and PS3 had already seen $100 price cuts at this point, and PS4 is siting Neck and neck with PS3. Both of those consoles also had much bigger exclusives out at this point as well.
If PS4 continues this path, then it is going to blow by 50M units in the US in no time. A $100 price cut next year in combonation with Morpheus should push the thing over 10M units next year. If they can follow that up with another $100 in 2018, I think 10M will be the base line for at least 5 years between 2016 - 2020. Would not be all that surprising to see it hit 15M in 2017 and 2018. PS4 is well on it's way to making the PlayStation OS the iOS/Android of home computing.
