Though because of the wider sales spread for PS consoles around the world 41 million in the USA probably would mean 120 million worldwide. I don't think PS4 will get that high, especially not with the generation likely to be shortened by both Nintendo and MS releasing 9th gen hardware sooner rather than later. |

We want talk about legs? There is no way for PS4 have the PS2 legs, first becuse the generation will be shorter, second... because is PS2. Nothing can top PS2 legs.
The lifetime gap will be much, MUCH bigger than 6 million, and the Wii has sold over 42 million in the US.
Guys many of you talk about the Wii dropped but you know that the Wii was selling 600 / 700 k unit at month in the US? And then is dropped, and what was selling in 2011? over 200k, some time over 300k... seriusly, even if the Wii is dropped, the sales was still insane, indeed, in 2011, the Wii has sold more than PS4 in 2014 and even 2015. And the 2011 is the Wii worst year ( withouth 2012, because of course is the Wii U launch year).
But even if we compared PS4 with a console like PS2, or even the 360, two console with the massive legs, still. PS4 is not even close to sell 40 million in the US.
