Makes sense. I guess this way, the devs can instead focus on having a truly expansive multiplayer instead.
Wait, what do you mean the game is only going to have 12 maps from three or four planets? The original game from 2004 had 16 maps from 10 planets! What's that, there's DLC a few weeks later? Only for people who pre-order, and even then you are only on par with the original, and still lack the visual variety. And Battlefront 2 had about 30 maps without counting Space-themed ones.
Some of the things they add are cool, like customizable characters, but the entire package does not seem that more complex than the original, let alone the sequel. And for a game released a decade later, with no proper single player, that is a load of *********.
