Did you read the article? It's a vomit inducing, corporate worshipping piece of propaganda, no self respecting journalist would be able to look in the mirror after writing a piece of filth like this. This is not journalism, this is marketing, nothing more.
Like I said, my problem here isn't the premise, if the article was called something like "The Xbox One might be the console to get this christmas season" and was in general more objective and less blinded by hype (cause, while this article might not make you think that way, aside from one or two things nothing he's talking about in here is actually out and has really been fully tested by the author), it would be fine. I mean he even goes so far as to circlejerk about early access, a system that is in general regarded negatively (I personally hate it, but that's neither here nor there).
Lines like this are not something a journalist should write (about a game he didn't play I might add), without being paid by the company to do it:
"But the bigger hit could be the exclusive-to-console-for-a-year Rise of the Tomb Raider, bringing back that classic video game adventure and exploration, wrapped in a budget to make Midas wince. You shouldn’t wait to buy new Tomb Raider on a different format a year later. We’ll have all moved on. Get that gold while you can. This is why you play triple-A."
