JW has grossed 12.8m in Japan in 5 days and topped a record weekend. This week is the Obon week in Japan which means everyday until sunday will be a holiday. So expect huge numbers for movies this week.


I go to BoxOfficeMojo all the time and have not heard anything about its weekend in japan thus far.
