It baffles me that some of your really think that Devil's Third will outsell Black Ops 2. Even if Activision could have advertised the WiiU-version better... it was still a launch title for the Wii U and therefore to find in every game list for the new console. And quality of the port (and the CoD-games in general) aside, "Call of Duty" is still one of the strongest IPs in gaming and you can see the production values of the game.
Most Wii U gamers probably won't even know that the shooter "Devil's Third" exists. Nintendo didn't show it at E3 2015 (neither in their presentation nor in the tree house) and I don't expect a Nintendo Direct or any big advertisement campaigns for the game. If the reviews are bad or mediocre, many retailers won't bother to give that game much shelf space.
The game doesn't have any outstanding controls like "The Conduit" on the height of the Wii hype in 2009. Devil's Third reminds me a lot of games like "Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard" or the "Painkiller"-games, which tried to compensate the outdated graphics and boring level design with wacky humor and gore.
