PS4 has a wide number of exclusive and most have poor sales. The widely marketed PS4 exclusives are doing modest numbers as well because they underwhelmed.

You know what PS4 games are doing particularly well? The same ones on X1. :-p

PS4 has a much bigger userbase than X1, yet the exclusive software sales disparity isn't that big. That tells me Sony is doing something wrong.

Both the PS4 and the XBO has bigger userbases than the Wii U, yet the exclusive software sales disparity is massive. In the Wii U's favour. That tells me both are doing something wrong.

Seriously, each recurring franchise released on the PS4 thus far is likely to be the bestselling in the franchise. How is that bad?

Wii U is pretty much dependent on Mario games. Anyhow, Wii U is different aiming for a different audinece... people that still want Mario games and it hasn't been enough to make the Wii U a success.

Each recurring PS4 franchise should be selling better, but what keeping that from happening is the games aren't very good. The Order for example, that should have been huge. If it wasn't a bad game that would have been a great success for Sony. PS4 has the audience to move a ton of 1st party software but lacks the quality.

X1 has better exclusives and its moving exclusive software at par with PS4. That wouldn't be if Sony was doing better with its games.

Yup on all accounts (though XBO exclusive software is not selling on par with PS4 exclusive content)

However, I'm fairly certain we will see this change in 2016. Sony's exclusive lineup thus far has clearly been lacking, but 2016 is shaping up to be a massive year for Playstation exclusives. UC4 and SFV alone will be massive, add to that Horizon, R&C and TLG, and possibly Gran Turismo 7 (Which is supposedly coming before 2017).
