Skyrim was GOTG to many and that game was just an awful buggy mess.

Clearly people need higher standards. Only then can Splatoon win.

Hmmm... yeah, no. It's really not worthy of any major gaming award. 

Neither are the games that get those gaming awards.

Why bother with terms like Goty or GOTG when people only think open world games should get those awards.

I don't care for open world games. I'll agree Skyrim didn't deserve it. But I really don't see any point in engaging me, Samus. You'll not convince me that Splatoon is a GotY or GotG game.
