It released with a lack of content no voice chat and an okay single player mode. To give it game of the GENERATION already when we're not even half way through is incredibly bold. There are quite a few games on Wii U alone that would be a better contender than Splatoon.
There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'
