I was the same way up until I was your age. Had only read a handful of books up until I graduated high school. If it helps, you usually have way more free time at university/college, unless you're working tons of hours during your summer and winter breaks. The schedule is so much better than high school.

If you want a good, slow-burn horror, read Salem's Lot.
If you want a 20th century classic that holds up today, read Fahrenheit 451 or 1984.
If you want a real-life adventure story, read Into the Wild or Between a Rock and a Hard Place.
And if you want books that everybody seem to love, read the Harry Potter books.
