I don't think it's a conventional home console. It's more likely a portable centric line of hardware, so the portable is the main product, then you have a maybe a optional micro-console version or a dock type thing that plays the same games perhaps at a high res.
That's my guess.
Don't think Nintendo is making a "big box console" next time out, maybe not ever again, not with how tech has changed. You can get nice graphics from mobile parts now.
What I think Nintendo will focus their money on is high bandwidth RAM (HBM), that will be the cutting edge part of the NX, Nintendo loves high bandwidth RAM (the eDRAM on GameCube, Wii, Wii U, even 3DS has eDRAM) and I think HBM will be a go on NX. HBM solves the problem of bandwidth issue on mobile parts.
But I expect it to be pretty powerful ... for a portable (300-350 GFLOPS-ish with HBM RAM will cook).
