Why doesn't Nintendo make more games for it's systems?

How is that?

Assassin's Creed has had 9 main games since its introduction in 2007, which averages 1.125 games per year.

Mario has had 5 main games since 2007 (6 if we count Super Mario Maker), which averages .625 (or .75) games per year.

Zelda has had 4 main games since 2007, which averages .5 games per year.

Pokemon has had 7 main games since 2007, which averages .875 games per year.

 

Thats one way to spin it...
