No it doesn't if you read the article they suggest that it endangers the Wii's solo dominance. They didn't say anything else. If you read anything into it its your bad not a problem of the article.

This is an attack on the Wii itself and again a failure to understand the differences between Wii and its market and GTAIV and its market.

Don't you know what bust means in financial terms? It means money is lost, not that no money is gained. It means the same as a bomb or flop. That does mean this is trying to make it look as though this is a loss for Nintendo, not merely a non-gain.

He follows this with a Pachter quote without context. It's just looking at one side of coin again. Not everybody likes tails, some like head.

Again the sentence is absolutely correct PS3 and 360 have many advantages in power, media capabilities and online connectivity. That's simply a true statement.

He's addressing the context of the statement, not whether the facts are true. The point is those don't have anything to do with GTA IV having any effect on the Wii.

??? You think too much that you are clever. Of course Wii and PS3 are in some way in competition. Not as direct as 360 and PS3 but they are both video consoles. Again there are no problems with this article but many with your mindset and expectations.

A completely valid question. I am pretty sure that GTA WILL make a chink in the Wii's armor, GTA is a mainstream title and will bring quite a few potential or actual Wii owners to 360 or PS3. I don't think that this will result in the end of the Wii or something or even stop its dominance (that needs more) but the article is completely correct and you fail.

The article still doesn't work because it lists facts that don't support the conclusion. In fact, your mainstream game comment was better support for that than the article itself.
