Yeah, I read something similar, but I still think that no matter how different an anime is from the manga, if people like the anime enough they will watch it. For example, I heard that Sailor Moon deviated A LOT from the manga, but was obviously very successful. The reboot, which from what I heard was extremely close to the mange, did not do that well. From what I saw, it felt like a completely different show. My point being that sticking to the original material is not necessarily always good. Anyway, I've never read a manga (tvried reading the akame ga kill manga and was bored to death) but Akame ga kill seemed awesome to me. I get why things like Dragon Ball GT failed, or even Bleach (they both got boring in my opinion), but for me Akame ga kill was perfect the entire time. Loved every single thing about it. |
Bleach failed to you? I thought Bleach did very well with the Anime to me anyway. And left left off at a good spot. There are even rumors of it starting back up or having a movie to cover the Quincy series....
