Same thing was said about kryptonite and yet kryptonite hasn't even come close to killing him.

Or that he's suseptable to magic and yet has resisted magic attacks that even thor couldn't tank.

Superman has so many on panel feats that would suggest that he could actually beat dr. manhattan...or bag of tricks as i like to refer to it :p


I'm just gonna copy and paste my scenario I gave to TheSonyGirl:

Manhattan could teleport them both so far away from any star that Supes wouldn't be able to recharge his power, and when Supes eventually does run out of energy, Manhattan will destroy him.

How could Supes possibly avoid that? If Supes tried to fly away, Dr. Manhattan could just teleport him back.

Also, even if Supes could withstand everything Manhattan throws at him, I've yet to see anyone in this thread suggest anything Supes could do to damage Manhattan.
