Honesty I think it would be good if nintendo aimed their console to be able to get the same 3rd party games as the PS4/XB1 but maybe at a lower resolution so they could still undercut them in price. So a game could be 1080p on PS4, 900 on X1 and 720 on the Next Ninty home console. I don't think there's any point making it more powerful than the PS4 as 3rd parties probably would not take advantage of it, and I don't think Nintendo games would really need it either. Nintendo have the advantage of knowing how powerful their competitors are and can set the specs for their next machine so that they do not need to spend more than they have to.
