I agreed with Superman's first victory, and I still agree with it. It's not a battle of power, it's a battle of concepts. Both of these characters could be as powerful as they would need to be in their stories, but while Goku has to earn that power, Superman already has all the power he needs to do anything, no matter how impossible.
